Outcomes

Being in Washington for a two week Balkans poverty course, we decided to organize an evening of socialization between the World Bank staff and the course participants. The stress of the first lot and the disinterest of the latter produced a frantic 45 minute walk to the Kennedy Performing Arts Center, in freezing weather - allegedly to see a concert. Nobody stayed for it though! The Balkans crew was rushing off to another shopping mall before closing time, and the World Bank staff had to get back to their offices at 8pm. The concert was great though, I listened to it all by myself.
